Reading the period from a u,t diagram
Geen grafiekdata beschikbaar.

The period is the time for one complete oscillation.

In a u,t diagram, you can find it using two consecutive identical points, for example two peaks.

Subtract the first time from the second time.

  1. Read two consecutive times
Take two consecutive identical points from the u,t diagram.
  2. Calculate the time difference
Work out the intermediate step using the values from the problem.
In a u,t diagram, there is a peak at t = 0,2 s and the next peak at t = 0,7 s. Calculate the period.
  1. Read two consecutive times
    First peak = 0,2 s. Next peak = 0,7 s.
  2. Calculate the time difference
    0,7 - 0,2 = 0,5 s.
