Complete the ratio table

Theory

How do you complete a ratio table?
Verhoudingstabel verkennenboven25onder6?

In a ratio table, the numbers in the rows always relate to each other in the same way.

First find the factor between two numbers that already belong together.

Use that same factor to calculate the missing number on the right.

  1. Divide the number in the bottom row by the number above it. The result is the factor you use to go from the top row to the bottom row.
  2. Divide the number on the bottom right by the same factor to go back to the top row.
Complete the ratio table: 2 goes with 6, and 5 goes with the missing number.
  1. Determine the factor between the rows
    6 ÷ 2 = 3.
  2. Use the same factor below
    5 × 3 = 15.
